I wanted you all to know that I had ballooned up to 383 and change as of February 5th , but I am back on track. I am down to 370.6 which is a bit above my last post but still less then I was on the 5th. Since my last post I have seen the Dr. and they think they know one of the problems I might be having but I won't know for sure until I see the Dr. next week.
I love to walk, but I have a low tolerance for what kind of weather I will actually walk in. I have always wanted a tread mill, so as a early birthday present this year, my husband ordered me one. I love it. It is club sized and has a great warranty so I am hoping it keeps me on track with my goals ahead.
As you can tell I need lots of encouragement to keep me motivated, and having this equipment is a big motivator for me. I am three days into working out and doing well so far. The first time I used the treadmill I was a bit disoriented when I got off, but I am doing much better now that I am getting used to it. Another motivator was getting a new pair of walking shoes, which I badly needed. My last pair were smooth on the bottom from walking.
My husband is currantly home because he had fallen at work on the ice and pulled everything away from his knee cap. He had his operation the same week it happened and is non weight bearing for at least the next 6 weeks. We are pretty much home except for Dr.'s appointments or shopping, so that opens plenty of time up for me to stay on track with my goal of staying active.
I am thankful for all of the support I have recieved during my fight to lose weight thus far. Here is to lower number in the next few months and a healthier outlook on life.
