Day 4

Day four did not go well. I forgot to mention that during that special time of the month I am not allowed to excercise or drink many fluids. A little much I know but I am a heavy bleeder with very thin blood, which also makes my heart flutter. I guess we came up with during this time, since I lose so much blood, and my blood is already to thin, that any stress on my body just wrecks havic with my heart. In a few days I will be able to resume my efforts. Until then it is alot of staying still, and not letting any stress in.

Days 2 & 3

I was a bit busy the last two days as Friday was my busy day with the kids. I was able to just squeeze in about 20 minutes on Friday and Saturday I probably walked for about 3 hours totaled while shopping but still moving, it was probably more and pushing big heavy carts to boot, bending, lifting. I think you get the idea. I guess in the past few years that I have put on so much weight these are some of the only days I would get moving, that is why I like to keep the kid active in things in their school, it also provides me the get up and go to get moving. So with their busy schedules I have to take them places or pick them up and this gives me opportunity to get out and move. I do pride myself in being very flexible for someone my size but that is only because I like to do yoga. I only do the stretches for the back and legs, so the pretty easy beginner ones for me, but over the years with putting weight on I have noticed I can't bend my legs as much, that would be the overage of fat on my thighs, oh my. Also because of the joint pain and muscle pain I haven't been able to do much of the yoga, that I use to enjoy which really bums me out. It has also caused me to pretty much stop doing them all together, but I hope in the next few days to start with one pose, see how it goes, and then add on from there till I get back up to where I use to be. I need to do this for my health, and so I can keep up with my children. That's all for today thanks for stopping by.

Day 1

I did my 20 minutes of excercise yesterday, and plan on doing it again today towards evening. I didn't make it through the whole video but the instructor said if it was a bit hard or in my case my heart rate got up to high to just walk in place, which I did for 2 of the excercises. I use to do this video with out any problems but in the last 3 years since my daughter was born I put on about 124 pounds which is alot.

I stopped doing the excercises when I started having all of the pain I do. It is always moving around, so far they haven't figured out what is causing it, it has been enough time that I have just got to get back into the groove of things, and try to lose some of the weight. My highest weight before now was 380 but that had to do with my kidneys, and so far those tests have come back alright. The pain I have seems to be in the muscles. Like my ribs and elbows might hurt one day, my calf on one leg, and my instep on the other leg another. Sometimes it feels like I can hardly move my fingers fast enough to keep up with my brain, and still others times it hurts all over and it takes me like 5 minutes to get up the stairs. I don't have any swelling or inflamation, although I do have heat flashes around 3am in the morning, but I have had those ever since my tick bite, which they keep a close eye on my numbers there to, so my hopes are that they will figure it out before I end up 6 feet under.

My life is here with my family and every waking breath is for them and for me to truely enjoy the time I have with them.

Pam's fight to lose weight

Well here I am another year and even heavier then last. I am still seeking help from the Dr.'s as they still can not tell me why I am still putting on weight, but I just joined a site where you could win a 100.00 for the Rev Up Your Weight Loss Challenge. I guess I just needed that little extra push to get me moving a bit more. This is a 6 week challenge so I hope you will all check back with me from time to time to see how I am doing. I guess I should give everyone my beginning size. I am
5'7'' and weigh about 384 at the time of this blog so I really need all the encouragement I could possibly recieve. I know this weight is not good for my body so please join me in the challenge to see if I can do it.
